Silver Stream Healthcare is an Irish company, established in 1993 that manages 12 nursing homes across Ireland. We provide the highest quality care for up to 865 residents.
Here at Silver Stream Healthcare, our residents come first. We provide a wide range of care options, from long stay to respite care, dementia care, convalescence care and end of life care. We have nursing homes across Ireland, providing quality care to many residents.
We know that making a care decision can be challenging for you and your family. In many cases, such decisions can be made gradually as you grow older or your health declines. Sometimes however, where there’s an illness or injury, a decision needs to be made quickly.

We also place emphasis on communication, consultation and participation between our community members and the wider community of healthcare professionals, charitable organisations and groups involved with care of the older person. Working together as a group ensures that we are continually exploring new ways to adapt and evolve in order to deliver quality assurance, innovation and continuous improvement.

Our ESG efforts
At Silver Stream Healthcare, we are dedicated to creating a positive impact on the environment and the communities we serve. As part of our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts, we are proud to incorporate sustainable practices into our operations.
One notable example of our sustainable initiatives is the installation of solar panels at our Sugar Loaf Care Centre in co. Wicklow, is currently in development.
These state-of-the-art panels harness the power of the sun to generate clean, renewable energy for our facility. By utilising solar energy, we reduce our carbon footprint and decrease our reliance on traditional energy sources. This not only helps combat climate change but also sets an example for others to follow in the pursuit of a greener future.
