Our residents and staff in Dunlavin had an unexpected but delightful visitor this week.
Cormac Barker, Kildare GAA U20 goalkeeper and recent All-Ireland Winner paid us a visit. Cormac is fresh off claiming goalkeeper of the year for the second year in a row and didn’t arrive empty-handed.
With a Leinster trophy in one hand and an All-Ireland in the other, excitement grew among residents and staff.
We have to say a huge thank you to Cormac for ‘crossing the border’ into Wicklow and spending time in our Dunlavin home.
Cormac was extremely generous with his time as he brought the silverware around and sat and chatted with residents. There were even a couple of autographs!
