The Punchestown National Hunt Festival is the big racing festival that takes place in Kildare at the end of April each year.
Everyone had a fantastic time in Dunlavin celebrating this event with our ladies enjoying lovely afternoon tea party; a few “flutters” on the horses and a few winners in the process!!
It was also a time for reminiscence, listening to the resident’s stories of going to Punchestown with their families where some would walk or cycle and others went on horseback.
It was an amazing family day outing and a special time for so many of our residents with who we were able to share their stories
